Some Tips For Shopping

Something that I should have figured out sooner, but not until now is that I should always buy two pairs of the same work/dress shoes and two swimsuits when I go shopping.

My feet are huge and to find comfortable shoes that are stylish and yet suited for an office environment is extremely difficult for me =_=; The problem with my feet is my width =_=; So if I find good shoes that work, I really should buy two pairs in case I wear one down, that way I don't have to scramble around trying to find shoes again later and go through this headache-inducing experience. Learning from my previous experiences, I finally bought two pairs of the same shoe type this time before my move down to the bay area. I got them in different colors though so I can color-coordinate with my wardrobe.

Another thing is that... I need to buy at least two swimsuits during the summer, because all my swimming has caused my body to shrink and my suit to become flimsy. So I should buy one in my current size and then one in the next size down. My speed has also greatly decreased these last few weeks, because my suit has become pretty puffy in the water =_=; I know I can go faster, but the suit is just slowing me down. The bad thing about now is that I can't find swimsuits anywhere sold inexpensively 'cause it's no longer in season =_=

Oh well... I can barely fit into my old one from when my body was super-fit =_=; so maybe I'll give that a whirl =_=; I must admit that I don't exactly look attractive in my smaller swimsuit, but it just might help with the speed problem. The drag right now is really annoying =_=

Anyway, that's just my little advice note for myself.

LoL... I have the opposite problem of finding shoes. All shoes that I try on are always too big. Even a 21.5 is even too big for my foot... I hate my small feet!

I'm glad that you're swimming. It shouldn't really matter the speed that you're going, but as long as you feel the burn, it's all good. It's good practice to use two suits because you go slower, and it'll make you probably burn faster because of the desire to go fast~. Glad you're doing well~!

The drag is not good when other swimmers in the lanes feel the need to race you, and you vice versa =_=; I swear... this one girl in the pool today was the only reason why I was swimming as fast as I did. I was the faster swimmer, but it felt like we were just pushing each other to go faster and faster. My back kind of gave out towards the end and it still hurts right now =_=; *sigh* I can be reckless when there's competition sometimes... ^__^;;; And here I was hoping I've matured a bit. (Not ^,^)

She was doing freestyle and I was doing breast stroke though lol ^_^; Breast stroke has become my best stroke in the pool 'cause I pretty much zoom through the water. The drag though really slows me down though =_=; *sigh* As much as it may sound good to burn calories with the drag, it makes me feel like I'm going injure myself by pushing myself too hard ^_^;; It's like you've always been able to go fast and then suddenly you're several notches slower, it's not a fun change ^_^; Plus, you sometimes feel as though the suit's going to peel itself off of you at times lol ^_^; Thank god the pool is full of women rather than men ^,^
